There are no symptoms at all. I ran fine for several weeks, then
installed XLR8 Mach Speed Control to see if the chip and cache were
running as advertised, speedwise, and they were. But then when I ran
my first DVD movie, XLR8MSC warned me the processor was overheating.
The program/sensor consistently run in the low 80's, with spikes in
the 90's and dips in the 70's.

So do I need to check it with a thermocouple? Where do I get one, and
how do I place it?
