>From the info I've read at xlr8yourmac.com, the Wired4DVD PCI card is by far the best way to view DVDs. The hardware-based decoder makes playback very smooth and the player is very responsive. I wish I could find one of those on eBay, the software DVD player in my Sawtooth really sucks in terms of responsiveness in OS 9.2.2 (in OS X it is fine). I don't know if this PCI card is OSX compatible (probably not, it is discontinued).
