RE; Mobo. reset switch? also in my own machine a recently installed ethernet
card,caused similar to described problem,it seems I had to remove the apple
ethernet extension, while starting-up it was trying to load both and would
begin to boot then lock solid at that point, just cheap tricks to try before
panic,also and added video pci card can cause fits until sorted out.
