I haven't done the firmware patch on the new logic board, as I haven't 
wanted to risk killing a second board with the suspect G4 ZIF. The patch 
isn't really an update, but rather alters the firmware to allow the 
Yosemite board to use a G4 processor. The upgrade you were thinking of 
is for real (Sawtooth) G4s, only.
