See, you're smart. I'm dumb. I load all sorts of whacky stuff on here, and have
on all my macs going back to ole' MacPlus. So, it's likely my own "promiscuity"
that leads to crashes, freezes, etc. I also run a lot of high-end 
memory intensive
graphics programs and take/make maneuvers which are likely quite taxing on
the RAM and the processor.
