FYI, and this is according to people I know who have spoken to Apple
Genius Bar staff, the minimum is 16MB, recommended is 32MB (meaning it
makes a big difference on a 32MB AGP card) and anything bigger is just
much better.

Indeed, nut it also helps people get their work done faster and more
efficiently.

That's not true. 10.0.x sucked, 10.1 was a massive improvement, 10.1.5
was very good and, IMHO 10.2 is finally what OS X should have been.
10.1.5 and 10.2 are as stable as you could ever expect an OS to be, and
what is more I think 10.2 is now on a par with Windows XP Pro as far as
it's feature set is concerned and what is more it is a good 70 cheaper.

One wonders why they needed 867MHz G4s to write billing software..... I
am seeing some of your point here.

Apple have a solution somewhere, it's unlikely they will tell anyone
what it is until the day before the launch it but hey.... I know for
certain it's NOT IBM's Power4.
