I'm seriously looking at the iPod, but the specs state
it must use a built-in FireWire plug. My
understanding concerning "built-in" means attached to
the motherboard. Would the iPod work on a powered
FireWire card? I have a QPS FireWire PCI card and I
was wondering if anyone knew if it was powered or not?
If not powered, would a powered FireWire hub allow
proper operation of the iPod?

TIA...Van
