Greetings: I just started up my G-4 for the 1st time today, and when I tried to access BBEdit, Photoshop 7.1, and a number of other apps, I get this message: " This application (whatever it happens to be) cannot be opened because Toolbox Utils-SetColorandPenStade cannot be found. You may need to reload Toolbox Utils-....., or get an updated version".
Everything was working fine yesterday. The only thing I've updated was a Security Release for Microsoft Office for Mac 2001. I was helping my daughters with their homework last night and we were downloading pages from google.com search sites and using the Grollier Encyclopedia CD and getting articles and photos from the disks. They are in the middle of this homework project and I can't open but very few apps. I can't locate a file or utility called "ToolboxUtils-SetColorandPenStade" and I have no idea where to go to get a newer version or reload the original. I looked on the Apple-KB site and found nothing about that. Can anyone help me with this? Their project is due tomorrow and I can't use any of the text editors or graphic arts programs like photoshop, photoshop elements, etc. I have a G-4 400Mghz with dual 80GB hard drives. I have an ATI Radeon 8500 graphics card for Mac and I have 1.5GB of ram installed. I have OS 9.2.2 on one hard drive, and OS 10.1.5 on the 2nd hard drive. I was using OS 9.2.2 and normally boot into OS 9.2.2. Any help or advice where I can get this file so we can get this project finished would be sincerely appreciated. Ron Ward G List co Nanny Austin, TX sorry for cross posting to another list, but I really need to find out how to correct this, reload it, etc. as 30% of their grade depends on this project being completed and turned in tomorrow. -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
