I thought I read somewhere that the Sonnet AtA card didn't emulate scsi.  Could
be wrong.

I also learned, I think from this list, that the scsi emulation eliminates the
need to install osX in the first 8 gigs of a drive, as otherwise required for
Beige and maybe B&W machines.
