I could use some advice. I have a beige G3/300 I am working on. I
got the breaking glass sound upon boot attempt and the power supply
smoked. I suspect this unit has seen the aftermath of a lightning
strike.

I replaced the supply and still got the breaking glass. So I changed
out the motherboard and ram.

So now I sit with this box having new power supply and motherboard
and the only remaining components from the old setup are the case and
the processor. I put new RAM in it as well as drives. I do suspect
the processor to be bad but the issue now is I cannot get the new
components for power up at all to even check the processor.

I found the power reset on the motherboard but I cannot find the cuda
switch (if there is one) The power reset does not help.

I am looking for ideas to get the unit to power up as I would really
like to resurrect the box.
