I know this is the G-List, but since I use the printer with my G3 it may not be too off topic. My Laserwriter 8500 has started flashing the paper jam and paper out lights. It seems to go through warm up, the rollers turn and the warm up light flashes and then the two lights begin a slow flash. I have the SM but I don't have the "green" loop-back plug to force an E-POST. The lights are not alternating like shown in the SM, they flash together. Any ideas? Does anyone have the pin out for the "green" loop-back plug?
