I was told by one of the list moms on the PCI PowerMacs list (Tim) that printer problems are ON-TOPIC since they do have to do with technical discussion on macs. Since a printer can be used with a variety of Macs it's ok. Besides it would be ridiculous to make a printer list, since you're not going to sign up on a list just to ask one question.
