"fuser temperature malfunction" usually means the fuser lamp is dead.
I'm not sure how difficult it is to replace on this model, but it can be
fairly difficult on some printers.
In my town, a friend paid $100 or so to have it replaced on a Laserjet III,
but that's a more common printer so probably cheaper to fix.
