Some help please.

Im having persistant, regular trouble with random crashes followed by dialog boxes
indicating type 13 errors [not -13].

I have a Beige MT 300 upgraded early last summer with a Formac copper G3 set at 466
mghz, 384mg of ram, system 9.1 recently upgraded [clean install] to OS 9.2.1.

I get sudden crashes of all different types of applications where the application
suddenly disappears back to the Finder and is replaced by a window indicating a type
13 error. Other times my Finder suddenly quits and I am asked to restart. Sometimes
the computer just freezes.

This condition began with regular frequency several weeks ago. I did a clean install
of OS 9.1 and upgraded to 9.2.1 and the problem followed along to the new system.

I have tried many things.

I eliminated all third party extensions and control panels. I rebuilt the desktop at
startup and by using DiskWarrior after starting up from the CD ROM [DiskWarrior run
from the CD ROM has crashed with a 13 error]. I zapped the pram. I reduced the
adjustable processor speed of the Formac ZIF by setting it to 400 mghz and pushed the
Cuda [reset] button to the left of the PCI slots. I tested for bad ram by pulling each
chip, one chip at a time and restarting. I installed a new pram battery.

The crashes and type 13 errors continued after each test or remedy. I suspect a
hardware issue but am baffled as to where to look next.

Looking type 13 errors up on the internet I find that it is an uninstalled interrupt.
Too vague for me to understand.

Has anyone had experience with type 13 errors and uninstalled interrupts?
Any suggestions of where I should look or what is going on?

Thanks,

Greg Rickert
