I was wondering, from the import I gleaned in this & some other threads
about hard drives, whether I need to buy 1 of these high-powered ATA cards

Office supply stores (from Maxtor, WD, etc.) at great prices in my G3 DT?

The only cards which will work in a Mac are those that are specifically
manufactured for use in a Mac.

The least expensive are those which are currently on close-out at Other World
Computing.
