I've got a Western Digital 100gig 7200 rpm 8 mg cache in my G3 desktop (no
high-powered card) that I put in and it's worked great from day one. Not one
problem. Whether it's working at optimal speed or not I guess I don't know,
but it sure seems a whole lot faster than the stock 4 gig it replaced. I've
spent a lot of money on upgrades and such thru the years and sometimes I've
wondered if they were really worth it, but this one was a no brainer as far
as I could tell. It's been worth it.
