okay, so how do I know that the drive is "bootable"? Arn't all cd drives bootable? Coming from the PC world that I am they all are, so forgive my ignorance... Also, I read somewhere that I should probably have at least .5 gigs of memory in the machine. Do apples run well with an "odd" amount (say 768 or 256+256+128)? PC's (again) don't. I'm assuming the max amount of memory I can put in one of the three slots is 256 megs. Is this correct? Will 512 megs be enough? or should I plop down for another 256? I don't plan on running many "powerful" apps. Mostly internet browsing (somtimes 5-10 windows open), email, and word processing. I like a fast resonding machine though...Also, I was considering getting a usb card to plug in a usb keyboard and rf mouse by macally. Worth the extra dough, or does the adb kb and mse do a decent job.
