No. Not all of them. A good place to look would be in the list of supported drive mechanism's in the iTunes pages at apple. AFAIK, those are bootable. Simplest method of course, is to try it and see if it boots. You may have to spring for an Apple-rommed cd, but those are available pretty cheap. Power On copmputers, (http://www.poweron.com> has Apple CD-r's for $25, if need be. That said, my Lite-on 42-16-42 CDRW boots just fine, and those are like, $20 after rebates these days in places. Yes, if it's a beige G3, you're restricted to single density DIMMS, the largest of which is 256 MB. > Will 512 megs be enough? or should I plop down for another 256? Stated minimum is 128, the really usable minimum is 256, imo. > ..Also, I was considering getting a usb card to plug in a usb > keyboard and rf mouse by macally. I wouldn't replace the adb components at all; with usb ones you lose the power key on the keyboard, as well as any mouse or keyboard related shortcuts, since the USB card isn't recognized until the drivers load. -- "Wherever you go, there you are." - B.
