Be careful about using WORD for html pages.  It generates a lot of 
non-standard code which does not always work right with some browsers 
including IE.

Dreamweaver even has a remove WORD custom html feature now.

For your purposes I do wish Adobe still sold Pagemill.  That simple 
entry level program had a lot of powerful features.  Adobe abandoned 
it several years ago but you still see it out there.  They were 
giving away version 3 with every mac sold at the end.

If nothing else Netscape composer will at least give you standard code.
