Aloha Ted.
What I did to get Jaguar to boot on my G3 tower was to pull
out the battery for about an hour...
Replaced the battery, pushed the cuda button for about 2 min. It
then started up on the CD with no problems.
For my wife's desktop G3, I ended up pulling all the componets off
the mother board and letting it sit for a day or so.... put it all
back in, hit the cuda and it worked....
When all else fails, I try that....pull everything out.....
somehow it works.

Hiope this helps..
Steve

Oh...I also downloaded techtool's free software to rebuild the
desktop and zap the pram....
That alone might help...
Or do the rebuild the desktop start up and wait for he 3 chimes...
