G'day Ted

I had awful trouble getting a x.2.2 install disk to mount on my 233 DT
G3.

Apple recommend yanking every PCI card, but I left them in.

The problem was a dirty disk.

I looked at it and cleaned it several times, and thought it was
spotless, but my neighbor cleaned it 'properly' and the freezes went
away.

To clean it, always wipe from the inside directly to the edge, like
spokes. Never clean circularly. He only use clean tissues.

Otherwise, pay a video store to run it through their CD polisher.

Might be the problem.

Regards

Santa

And what, you ask, was the beginning of it all?
And it is this......
Existence that multiplied itself
For sheer delight of being
And plunged with numberless trillions of forms
So that it might
find
itself
innumerably
