Hi all,
I have a beige G3 DT I plan to upgrade, can somebody tell me why are Zif 500 mhz G4 upgrades so popular in contrast to 400 mhz G4 Zif processors. For example a XLR8 400 MHz MACh Speed G4 ZIF sells on eBay for $100 to 120, the same brand 500 mhz goes for $200 to $220. Could you give me an idea for a good brand G4 upgrade.

The best dollar value you will find right now is the G4/450/1MB from Other World Computing for $179
You should be able to overclock this to 500 quite easily
