I've been trying to but have had some instability.  The 500 mhz mark seems only
important to Final Cut and Final Cut Express users who want to use real time
effects.  These only become active if you have 500mhz or better.  They were cool
for me while they lasted.  
But I had to come back to 466... too many crashes.
