Little IDE connector at the bottom of the mother board near the PCI slots (YES) Set the jumpers on the IDE hard drive as MASTER. Did you try disk tools? Check your connection and make sure the cables are plugged in all the way! The SCSI should have a controler that shows on the screen during boot (Such as hit CTRL key you have to look fast! to load adaptec disk tools or something like that and verify the drive) or format it if you like! All you need is an IDE cable if your only using one SCSI drive since there are 2 poer connectors. But leave the SCSI in the computer and connected you may fince that it boots with the IDE in. Or after you install the OS on the IDE.
