I don't know if I can help or not. We have an iMac, a G3 and A G4
networked and all three get their internet from one connection (DSL now,
but it used to be dial-in). I use Internet Gateway as the router (I think
they've changed their name to Intergate.) Is this analogous to your
situation? if so, I can offer more information on settings.

But I will say this - and I don't know if anyone else on the list has had
this experience - but I discovered by trial and error that whenever the
controlling Mac needs to be restarted, I need to reset whether DCHP is
enabled, and it changes like a button - if it was enabled, the next time I
disable it, and the next time I enable it.... If I don't do this, the
other 2 Macs can't connect. And it doesn't matter which way it is set, the
important thing is that it is the opposite of what it was the time before.
I have tried at least twice to get Gateway techs explain why this would
happen, but they say it doesn't.
