Thanks Clyde, Richard, and [EMAIL PROTECTED] I'm a bit new to the Apple Mac platform but am here because I want to learn it. Finding where to start dredges up old memories of a few years ago with PCs.
I don't know what OSs supported what with regards to audio ap's etc. This G3/300 was purchased off eBay where I got the Wings card and a 5 port USB.(I have no original OS software of my own) I have a Wacom ArtZ 2 tablet, Mac digital camera/USB and a bunch of software for it. Presently I'm visiting boards and reading tutorials to learn more. My interest is graphics, DT publishing, and web design. My other half is a librarian who can sight read quite well, thus the intrigue with enabling the G3 for her to read text in the creation of audio files. Thanks for taking the time to explain. I'll set up and see what will happen, and if the Wings will be identified. I've wanted to work with some video myself so I purchased the Wings card and some software on eBay as well. So, I'll see if the regular "personality" audio card will work before installing the Wings card. Thanks again.
