I recently purchased a Visioneer mx230 digital camera which uses SD memory cards but I just discovered there are 2 types: 3 volts and 5 volts. I purchased a memory card reader (Dazzle) at OfficeMax which is free after rebate but it says it is incompatible with the 5 volt which is what I purchased. My camera does not appear to make any distinction in the manual, although it seems to show the 3.3v as the notch faces your right on the 3.3v as you are looking at the gold plating. . Anyone up on the difference on these two types and which is more prevalent. I gather the 3.3v is? I can't believe they would make 2 different type of SD cards. The Dazzle SD/MMC Reader makes no mention of this on the box which is odd as well.
