Eventhough I was extremely mad, fuming mad shall I say, I dealt with OWC and Larry in a very cool & professional manner. I know that it is the only way to get results. Screaming won't get you anywhere.
But even after the polite exchanges we had, they sent me back the wrong board. Even OWC emailed to me clearly that it was my original CPU board and the problems indicated on the packing slip matched the board's problem. The only problem is that, they said repeatedly that it was my board, but I said it wasn't. Anyhow, I got a shop credit from Larry, so I did what I could.
The issue here is not that OWC hasn't met their obligation. They did, but it is an issue of trust that I am sure some of us here felt the same way of somehow gotten taken.
Well, I'm glad that you were amicable. If you feel taken, then it is up to you and only you to keep at it and let them know. I've never met a company that didn't want happy satisfied customers. Be specific and don't give up. So long as you remain courteous, a barrage of letters can be very successful.
