A: One of the interesting things about civilization is the fundamental truths need to be restated every generation or even more often. With computers, a generation is a month or less.
So, quite rightly, every month, someone on this list (like Kyle) says this: KEEP NORTON UTILITIES FAR AWAY FROM YOUR MACINTOSH !
All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to say nothing.
(at least go ahead and let disk warrior give it a stab--but recover the files to another disk.)
