Only other Mac is a stinking iMac 333 Rev. D---an oldie but a...no, it's just an oldie. My startup drive on the G4 is still perfectly intact with no problems; it's the slave drive (the Vault) that is shitcanned. Generally speaking, I'm missing about 15GB of data, but I could breathe much easier if I am able to retrieve about 1GB of that...
