Boot the computer with the space bar down. This will open the Extensions Manager. Change the extensions set to OS 8.6 All and continue. This should allow the machine to boot. If it does boot open the extensions manager control panel. Start adding in extensions a few at a time and restart. Most often extensions conflicts happen with the most recent software installed. May want to try those extensions first to see if the type 11 comes back.
If you get the type 11 running on base extensions, you've got bigger problems. Possibly a hardware conflict. Disconnect all peripherals. See if it boots.
