Sounds like from the other posts that you won't get good, full screen DVD playback with your original plan. Since the size of the window will be so small (352x240), one option may be to convert the VHS tapes in iMovie to QuickTime. At least you could watch it on a computer. Just a thought. It's early of me, so it's probably a dumb one....
