I need a refresher course, please. I want to hook up a USB printer to my non-USB beige G3, running OS 9.1.
What do I need to add/change? I need an external USB port that plugs into a PCI slot, right? I could swear last time I looked into it, I needed 2 pieces of hardware, though. I have OS X, though not installed. Do I need to install that? I ask because, although I have a couple extra drives, last time I tried to put one in the computer, I think I almost blew it up because I got confused about which jumpers should be where, and which drive shoud be number 1, 0, etc. Thanks!
