I have used Earthlink for about eight years now, originally for dial up and for the past year for DSL. Like most ISP they don't really care how many computer you set up to use the Earthlink account as long as only ONE computer is connected to the internet at any given time.

If you accidentally connect two (or more) computers simultaneously you will get a warning. If you do it regularly they will charge you for it.

My Macs are behind a router with Earthlink DSL. They have never complained when I have had 3 connected. Earthlink just sees one number with a router right? I have 3 connected and not a peep from Earthlink.

The multiple connections issue is only with dial up. They don't care how many connect via DSL.

Sorry, I should have been more specific earlier.
