Hi Bill, I'm the one who started this thread and Rad seems to have taken it 
off in a different direction.  I did download and read the PDF file and from 
what I gathered from a cursory exam was that it says that YDL must be first.  
So is it possible to put the OS-X partition just within the first 8 Gb limit 
or does it have to be on the first physical partition?  With the Mac now 
residing in it's new PC case, I have plenty of room to put another drive in, 
so would that be a better way to do it?  I did see where YDL must be on the 
master drive in a 2 drive setup so how would that affect OS-X?  On the PC I 
use a program called Boot It NG, which handles all my booting chores for the 
various operating systems I have installed.  It works very well.  Is there 
something similar for the Mac?  Sorry for the confusion, that is why I'm 
doing this off-list.
