That's only the mail preferences.
I have had problems like this with Windows XP systems with XP's default
firewall installed. If you've done anything weird or are running a
different firewall in the system make sure the appropriate ports are
opened up on your firewall.
I have a hardware firewall, but like I said, it works from 2 other PC's just
fine, that port is open on the firewall.
Well, you've exhausted my meagre supply of IMAP troubleshooting tips...I have to do it pretty rarely, like I said, I've never see this problem before.
