Hey ya know, so did I. And I had the same problem. But I eventually 
figured out a solution. Don't let the system go to sleep.;}

I know, some folks can't do that. But I found that in general, I don't 
have half the need for restarts and such if I simply let my B&W go to a 
screen saver and then blank the screen but never really enter Sleep Mode.

Oh well....
