For some reason I've heard of a lot of problems with WD 60 and 80 GB drives from Mac users, I've got one in my B&W that's given me problems, a girl that got one at the same time as me and put it in an iMac had problems with hers, when mine wasn't working one time I saw a post the same day about another WD 60GB drive, and now this... I don't think I'll buy a WD drive for use in a Mac again.

I have 4 WD drives in 2 older computers for over a year with no problems. Make sure the Master/Slave settings are correct.
