The hard drives should have stickers on them indicating jumper positions for master and slave, so you set the little jumper on your old hard drive to "master" and on the new one to "slave", and the old one goes at the connector in the middle of the drive cable, the new one at the connector at the end, at least I *think* that's how mine works. Having just been in there and moving drives around like crazy two days ago, you'd think I'd remember which went where, but... ::rolls eyes::
That's only if both drives are IDE, if you're installing the old hard drive with only a SCSI drive in there, plug the other drive into the IDE cable as is and run it as master until you decide to install yet another drive on top of it...
