Larry is absolutely correct.  I will add one thing though, sometimes a master 
of Brand A does not work with a slave of Brand B.  Something to be said here 
for the way different manufacturers interpret the *standards* I suppose.  At 
least if both HD's are the same brand, there is a good chance they will work 
together!
