Before you buy any PCI USB (or FW card ) Card , I recommend that you look into the issue of Firewire and USB card

It would appear that for G4 and G5 ; and for Jag & Panther Apple does not support Deep Sleep on its PCI bus .

In my case, I purchased an Adaptec 4300 PCI-FW card and Deep Sleep will not function and also crashes my box on wake-up
