I have followed with interest the listings regarding compatibility with USB cards and 9.2.2.
I have a Wallstreet with a Belkin 2 port PCMCIA card fitted. This refused to identify anything attached or be identified in Apple System Profiler. I found out that there is a compatibility problem with extensions loaded with OS 9.2.2 upgrade and OS 9.2.2 full install. I found a set of extensions that a previous person had found resolved his problem. I downloaded these and removed the other extensions to a temporary folder (just in case) then installed the new ones (different versions) and all worked OK.
Here is the URL for the download: http://eshop.macsales.com/tech/ftp/usb/usbextensions.sit
And this is where I found the original info: http://www.macintouch.com/mos9usb.html
Hope this is some help

Hi Greg
i also have a lombard that runs 9.2.2 and i was going to install x on that but decieded to keep it 9 instead.
I think it's a good choice, given the cost of uprgrade.
however the usb drivers that are on that mac say that they are 1.5.8 revision and not 1.5.6 like your's mine where from an ibook install cd that i got with a clamshell 466 graphite ibook. last year.
have you tried them
vicki
I have not. Should I be looking around the impossible Apple Knowledge Base to find them?
