Hi Greg
i also have a lombard that runs 9.2.2 and i was going to install x on that but decieded to keep it 9 instead.
however the usb drivers that are on that mac say that they are 1.5.8 revision and not 1.5.6 like your's mine where from an ibook install cd that i got with a clamshell 466 graphite ibook. last year.
have you tried them
vicki
I'm glad Vicki got her problem worked out by installing OS X, but I've still
got a question for Tina, if she wishes to answer it, or if she has an answer
to it.
This Lombard (333/512/8) is a wonderful machine and runs 9.2.2 famously, but
I can't justify spending the money to upgrade it in ways that would make
running X as compelling as I would like.
I'm living in Alaska, and I'd rather keep this sexy machine running 9.2.2,
and just buy another new 'Book at the end of the summer here, after the
summer money.
In the meantime, Tina, if I haven't put you to sleep, here's my problem, and
thanks in advance if you can help with this particular Mac:
When I got the Lombard (respectfully used, of course), I wanted to run a Que! USB external burner from it, as well as a USB hub and a couple of external drives from it.
All went well for the first month, and then things went sour. I woke the Lombard up from sleep one day and found that the Lombard would no longer recognize my USB devices.
I did a clean install of 9.2.1 to no avail and immediately "upgraded" to 9.2.2. Still no result. Running USB 1.5.6.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. -- Peace, Greg Burkman ICQ 62393161 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
