Hi all need help
my g3 tower.
spec
300 cpu overclocked to 350
384 ram
13gb hdd Master
8gb slave
nec cdrw (bootable)
ethernet card slot A1
usb card slot B1

This is the problem i am running 9.2.2 and it is stable and runs fine but
the usb card will not see anything. i have re-installed the OS the usb
drivers everything and it still will not work even changed it around in the
various slots no joy.

if i boot into 9.0.4 it works fine the card is a belkin card and like i said
runs perfect with everything in 9.0.4 but will not work in 9.2.

could this be a OS thing and does anyone think that going to X might solve
the problem.

Hi Vicki,

I had a similar problem. I downloaded the Apple USB device driver http://www.usb-drivers.com/drivers/18/18245.htm it told me it's only required for OS 9 and not to install for 9.1 (and up) because it's built in. However, installed or not OS 9.1 doesn't recognize by Belkin USB card. It only seems to work under OS 9 I've been hesitant to upgrade OS 9 to 9.2.2

Regards.
