But the real question is- has anyone found a usb keyboard that is as nice to use as any of the adb ones? I have used a number of usb keyboards and they all feel like toys from the dollar store, not the main piece of equipment that I interface with a $2499 ( when new) piece of precision computing equipment like my Mac.

Not an inexpensive solution in this day of $10.00 pecee keyboards, but, http://halfkeyboard.com/tactilepro/index.php will make you think you have the old Apple Extended Pro keyboard. Great feel. The keys are spaced slightly different than the current Apple keyboard, but a few days use cures that.
