Has anyone had any experience with fixing Apple Laserwriter II printers? I have an Apple IIf. It has been a real work horse since I bought it new in 1992. Recently, the two lights have blinked red in unison indicating a bad fuser. I ordered a fuser from fixyourownprinter.com and replaced it. The lights continued to blink. Shut it off for 10 min, 20 min, no help. I hate to give up this printer, so I bit the bullet for another 70 bucks and got an AC power module. There was a install movie with it and I followed it to the T. So I have a new power module and a new fuser installed. Still got two blinking lights. Any ideas? And don't tell me to buy another printer. I've done alot of shopping around and I'm in the spot of having to buy a newer G4 or G5 computer to use the new printers. I do not want to mess around with USB cards, which I have heard too many horror stories from this list. If I have to, I will buy another Laser writer. But first I need some advice on fixing this IIf. Please, any ideas?
