Huh! I'd never heard that before. Where'd you get
the info? Love my trusty B/W and been drooling at the
prospect of running a 1 GHz G4 in it; currently at G4
550. Dropping the bus speed seems an unacceptable
trade-off to me, though.

Other than the 1 GHz, I've only seen/heard of 800 MHz
G4 ZIFs from Sonnet...
Anyone else have informed opinion on fastest and/or
most powerful B/W CPU upgrades...?
