Well, I would have thought that with only Toast and the OS in use, even
96MB of RAM would be enough. I have an OS 8.6 partition with Toast 5 Lite
on it, but I can only get down to 256MB RAM so I can't really test this
theory.

The "Finishing..." stage can take a while, but you should be able to work
during that - I see from your other post that it locks up completely.

I decided to "google" this error, and it seems to be a standard CD
burning and/or SCSI error, not specific to Toast. In fact, I ended up on
the Nero site and they suggest causes ranging from bad CDs to dirty CD
lenses and driver errors (it's a PC application). What brand CD-R/CD-RWs
are you using - have you tried different types?

Other than that, I'm running out of suggestions already :-(
