Ummmm, thanks, but I'm not using OS X, or 9.2.2, so how is this relevant? 
I'm using OS 9.1 and only trying to burn CDs for data backup at 4X. I 
know that higher OS's need more RAM -- for everything, not just CD 
burning, but I'm not using those OS's or trying to burn CDs at transwarp 
speeds.   ;-)
