This may seem like a good idea, but many old programs require certain monitor settings and color depths that are not easy to reproduce. Do you want to keep a system 6 partition? I don't think it would even boot on new hardware, yet there are old games that are fun to play.

Basilisk allows one to control the "hardware" climate of the emulated mac, and play whatever you want. Unfortunately, I do not think the present version has sound, although it does in windows, linux, etc.
